What is integration and how well does it work? Presentation of the results of a new study

Immigration during the last decades represents one of the central developments of societal change in Austria. In social science surveys, however, people with a migration background are often underrepresented or not included at all. Recently, a volume was published compiling the results of a social science survey whose aim was to record central values, attitudes and behaviours of immigrants, and to compare them with those of the local population. The results shed a new, at times surprising light on the question of integration. The authors of the study will present the results.
